What is Skin Needling?
Also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, skin needling is a safe and effective natural skin rejuvenation treatment. This revolutionary technique smooths out fine lines, wrinkles and scars by promoting the body’s natural production of collagen. Skin needling is simple, natural, and has minimal side effects. Results are similar to laser resurfacing and much more cost effective but without the harsh damage to the epidermis.

How does skin needling work?
The Dermapen 4 device glides over the skin creating millions of fine channels. These micro-punctures in the skin stimulate the body’s natural healing response, producing your own natural collagen and elastin production, plumping out fine lines and wrinkles.
What to expect during Dermapen skin needling?
At Envisage Beauty we insist on the most advanced, up to date technology to ensure superior results, minimal discomfort, and very little downtime. Your treatments will be carried out by Salon owner, Jo McKenzie who is a Dermapen 4 Authorised Treatment Provider, fully trained and qualified in Dermapen protocols and their WORLD CLASS RESULTS.
You may experience some redness resembling sunburn on the areas treated, which usually fades over the next day and can be covered with mineral make-up. Most people return to normal activities immediately after the treatment. Application of a breathable camouflage will seal the skin and cover any redness.
The application of a special ‘Hyla-Active’ 3D sculptured mask is recommended and approved for use during your skin needling treatment. This treatment mask contains nourishing, calming and anti-aging active ingredients such as copper peptides, zinc, and Vitamin B5. It is designed to deliver intense hydration and recovery support
whilst promoting healing and reducing redness.
How many skin needling Treatments will I need?
Most Envisage Beauty clients see immediate results from skin needling and love the difference after their first
treatment, but generally, 4- 6 treatments are required to achieve improvements in skin firmness and texture. The
condition of your skin will continue to improve over the next 12 months when combined with the recommended
post-treatment care. With low downtime and simple aftercare, skin needling is an ideal, natural and long-lasting solution to achieving smooth and radiant skin.
